Kindergarten students do not get a report card for the 3rd quarter. However, I did assess them on the sight words introduced so far. Today, in your child's message tube you will find a sheet with the words introduced as of the end of the 3rd quarter and what percentage of words they knew. If they were not able to correctly say the word within 3 seconds they did not get credit for knowing it. As a reminder, sight words are words that usually can not be sounded out and words that we want them to look at and immediately say.
